With 30 years of business, Chuck Bennett Contracting has received numerous awards, citations, and levels of recognition such as the Chrysalis Award, the South Carolina Pinnacle Award, and many Prism Awards for our company's outstanding achievements. In 1992 the company was awarded Remodeling Magazine's "Big 50" Top Contractors in the United States Award.

From those humble beginnings, the company has grown to prosper and no doubt has become one of Charleston's most recognizable and respected names in the remodeling industry today. The company has to date successfully completed hundreds of remodeling projects, all while keeping up with the local traditions, customs, and ever changing code requirements.

We are known for our extensive experience with historic renovations all over the Charleston area, as well as our experience in working with Downtown BAR and zoning, as well as the Old Village Historic Commission. We feel that it's especially rewarding to convert a client's potential vision of their historic property to a completed reality. Chuck Bennett Contracting has completed projects all over the Charleston area. A notable historic project was the extensive renovation and expansion of 58 King Street, Charleston, SC.​
