Court Holmberg Homes LLC

Court Holmberg Homes was founded in 2005 with the goal of providing high-quality, high-value custom homes with an emphasis on one-on-one customer attention. Our founder and owner, Court Holmberg, is a retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who spent most of his 25-year career as an advanced technology research scientist and technology program manager. Court holds bachelors and masters degrees in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University and a PhD in applied physics from the Air Force Institute of Technology, so he’s arguably the best-educated home builder in the city. However, Court’s interest in the construction and remodeling business began years before his military career when he spent summers working for his stepfather’s subcontractors. After retiring from the Air Force in 2004, Court returned to Lubbock and went to work for his stepfather at Ron Bassinger Homes with the goal of turning his passion for design and construction into a second career. It was there he learned the business side of home building from Ron Bassinger, one of Lubbock’s most successful and most respected long-time builders.
