The contractor that chose us, long story, fired his concrete assistant and proceeded to do the work himself. He clearly did not have the skill set to set forms AND proceeded to mix concrete in a bucket rather than order a 'pour' from a sand a gravel company. After discovering the disaster in progress, we terminated him. He returned to the job site, we had to call police as he was verbally threatening and is now demanding payment at nearly twice the initial bid cost. It seems Buildzoom did not verify his credentials prior to listing him as a qualified contractor. He does not have a valid business license in his name and we had to hire an attorney. Not a happy board member of our homeowner association. Your agent has been made aware of this but, no update from her since August 21, 2018. Perhaps Buildzoom should assist with our legal fees. You asked for our feedback, I'll be happy to hear yours.
