This is our second home we have built with Cristo Homes. We had a positive experience the first time and therefore we are building our second new home with them in Hamilton. So far the expierence has been solid. Our home now is at drywall and we excited to see the progress. Communication has been great and sales person and supervisor have wonderful to work with.

Building a Cristo Home was a nightmare for me. Horrible workmanship all around. Roof began leaking three months after closing. Drip edge was not used simply because it was not in the current building codes. Therefore water runs down between gutters and wallls. Kitchen cabinets pulling away from walls. Mold found behind baseboards and under carpet year two. Cristo is aware of the issue and has done nothing to resolve. Sun melted siding due to it reflecting off window and Cristo’s solution was to tell me to plant a tree in front of window. Over 100 shots of silicon injected in basement walls and looks hideous. Cristo refuses to do anything about that because they say it is a cosmetic issue and cosmetic issues are not covered by their warranty. Do not expect good quality with a Cristo Home and be prepared to watch over them every single day of the build.

Customer service is awful. I have been calling for a week and sending emails with no response, but if you call for sales someone answers. House built in 2012 and cement board is cracking. Entire neighborhood is having issues with cement board and install. Cristo will gladly take your money, but if you need help with repairs, or asking for manufacturer they used for their products and contractors they used, GOOD LUCK.....

WORST THING EVER! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! FIND A CONTRACTOR THAT WILL STAND BY ONE'S WORD, DELIVER QUALITY, AND GO BEYOND CODE MINIMUM! IT DOES NOT TAKE THAT MUCH EXTRA EXPENSE TO USED QUALITY MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP! NEVER AGAIN AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! JOE AND ADAM CRISTO ARE CROOKS!
