Perry installed new shingle, per contract with Lowes. With one (1) years shingles we sliding off the roof. Perry sent man to look.. said I needed a new roof. Would not cone back. Now another year later shingles are sliding off. Called in a roofing person. Said the roof was NOT installed properly. Shot nails through the shingles. Perry doesn't want to take care of it. I definitely recommend NOT using this contractor.

We built a 1000+ sq ft addition to our home using David Perry Construction from Guntersville Alabama. He came highly recommended however we had a horrible experience. Walls were framed in the wrong place. When they were moved to the correct location it left nail holes in our floors that were never repaired. The sheetrock work was a complete mess, and the baseboards and trim were painted without puttying the nail holes or seams. The tile shower was a disaster. When I asked to have it fixed, they put caulk on top of the grout to try to make the tiles look more even. We moved the location of our laundry room and the holes in the floor from the hot water heater and dryer vent were left. You could see straight under the house! David’s go to answer when we would bring up an issue was, “This wasn’t priced in the contract. I can do it, but it will cost extra.” Everything we were asking for was discussed prior to the quote. He even listed materials for the end wall of the house under the “extras” on the final bill. Wouldn’t you think all materials for all the exterior walls would be included in the quote? In the end we were $20k over budget and spent DAYS scrubbing paint off our new floors and cleaning clumps of drywall off our new windows. (Cleanup wasn’t in the quote) Words will never do this experience justice. David Perry Construction of Guntersville took what should have been a happy time for our family and turning it into a nightmare.
