Clay and Hal began their construction careers in the late 1970’s after completing apprentice ship programs for Clay and Hal earned his degree in construction from California State University at Fresno.
The brothers began working along side their father Jack for another general contractor. The guys were building high end ski chalets and condos in Bear Valley. The time came to put their own name on the sign. Clay, Hal and Jack began Dillashaw Construction in May of 1982. Jack made the move to retirement soon afterwards and Clay and Hal have been building their reputation of extraordinary high quality, integrity and client satisfaction.
Clay and Hal have proven to be highly skilled builders beginning many projects on a handshake. The brothers are “hands on” contractors, doing the foundations, framing and finish carpentry themselves.
