I hired DKM CONSTRUCTION, LLC in late 2012 to renovate an upstairs master bathroom and downstairs laundry room which were original to my 1968 home. I came to know of DKM because Mr. David was brought in to provide the demolition construction quote for the job for Meetze Plumbing. Mr. David encouraged me to hire On Call Plumbing instead with whom he also worked stating they were easier to coordinate with as well as less expensive. Utilizing On Call Plumbing was the only positive aspect of working with DMK CONSTRUCTION, LLC. Added to consistent problems with flooring sub contractors installation, poor measurements taken for a shower installation, lack of proper permits and non compliance with industry standards of installation of drywall, the renovation went from chaotic to a complete mess and firing of DMK CONSTRUCTION, LLC. Thank Goodness for On Call who stood by their part of the job. All work completed by DMK had to be redone correctly by another contractor with guidance from the city. Refusing to accept the responsibility for his poor workmanship, Mr. David was insufferable to deal with so to end the relationship without spending money on an attorney , I paid his bill in full despite having to redo and complete 40% of the quoted job using other companies. Avoid this company and if you choose to risk giving them a try, confirm everything you are told about building permits, construction materials and the specifics of the scope of the work down to what type of wallboard to use. My advice is to look elsewhere!
