We lost our house to fire in February 2017; it was deemed a total loss due to extensive fire and smoke damage. We were referred to Statewide by our Public Advocate, and are thankful that we chose Statewide. They did an excellent job of rebuilding our house. There were several delays due to insurance claims, weather, and material availability, but we were finally able to move back in at the end of April 2018. Our final project manager Paul Halo did an excellent job of finalizing all the construction and finishing. Paul is very competent, professional, and conscientious of all the large and small details; he was always available to us by phone or text, and response time was quick and thorough. In fact, we recently contacted him almost a year later for a few minor issues, and he not only remembered us and our home, but responded just a quickly a year later as he did when the job was still in process.
I would recommend Statewide to anyone who was in the same devastating situation we were in. Thanks to all the workers, staff, and especially to Paul. -

We contracted Statewide Restoration to rebuild our house following a September 2016 fire. I highly recommend them to anybody needing fire restoration. They know their business and are reputable, ethical and caring. They also do very good and timely work.
Statewide really grabbed the bull by the horns from the beginning. They had a team at the house within six hours of the fire department’s fire watch ending to make it safe and stabilize and seal off the structure to protect it from entrance by intruders and the weather. They descended on the house with a crew of approximately ten and completed this job in one evening.
Fire restoration consists of two separate and very different services: contents restoration and structure restoration. Statewide can provide both services. Statewide crews performed the contents management and restoration for our home. This is difficult and hazardous work that is best contracted out. I cannot imagine any homeowner undertaking this on their own. Virtually every item in the house has be to be processed and either scrapped or salvaged before being inventoried. Many, if not most, of the salvaged items will need to be cleaned to remediate smoke damage.
We also had the structure restored (rebuilt) by Statewide. The house was stripped to the studs and flooring, the roof truss had to be completely replaced, and all the exterior siding was removed. Additionally, we had them expand our kitchen out to what used to be the back deck and open up the interior by removing walls. They prepared the drawings and calculations for the modifications and had them approved by the City of Seattle as part of the permitting process.
Before any of this work began, Statewide’s estimators prepared a cost estimate for all work. This was a detailed, item-by-item estimate that essentially covered every structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing item that would need to be purchased and installed in the house. Statewide used the same estimating software as the insurance company and was able to find a couple of deficiencies or omissions in their scope. They resolved their differences with the insurance company before coming to agreement on scope and pricing. Statewide was very thorough and reputable in this work, obviating the need for a public adjuster for the structure in my opinion.
Statewide was top notch on the execution side as well. They hired good and reputable subcontractors and held them accountable. A couple of problems surfaced on the construction side, but Statewide addressed and corrected them fully to my and their satisfaction. The Statewide project managers were honest, kept me informed, and were a pleasure to work with on making decisions as needed.
I should also mention that materials selection is a real strong point of Statewide. You need to pick out lighting, toiletries, appliances, flooring, etc. and this is typically done in design meetings in the Statewide offices. Statewide has people that know what they are doing are very good at this. Alex Halo is incredible in this regard.
In summary, I am extremely pleased with Statewide. I like our new house. -

Our fire occurred in August 2017. 10 months later we were able to move back in thanks to the great job of StateWide !
They did an amazing work from cleaning our personal stuff to rebuilding our house. They always treated us with care, honesty, professionalism and by involving us in the process and the different steps of the reconstruction. We owe them so much and really love how awesome look our house now. Thank you so much StateWide! -

Our home was in a fire in August 2017 and after 10 months, we were finally able to move back in. I absolutely could not have asked for a better company to assist me with the loss of contents and also reconstruction of our home. Every Statewide employee and representative was helpful and understanding of the emotional trauma that my family and I were going through after losing our home, our belongings and having to be displaced for so long.
I worked with Nik Tkachuk on contents. He was the first Statewide representative I met and he advised me on what to do and what not to do. I had no clue that I could be reimbursed for all the items I lost in the fire. He was very patient with me and the emotions I was going through from losing so many belongings.
Dave Lewis was my estimator and life savior. He was the person who communicated with my insurance company and made sure that I came out with a beautiful reconstructed home. Even in my emotional moments, Dave was amazing.
Paul Halo was the Project Manager for the reconstruction of my home. Paul was very receptive to my questions and design ideas. He always picked up the phone and text messages. He made himself available for me when I needed him and answered all my questions. He made sure that the project was to my liking and satisfaction. He found the colors I wanted and made miracles with the budget we had from the insurance company. I was not pressured into huge remodels or into paying expenses I could not afford. My home is absolutely beautiful and I have Paul to thank for.
Lana Krechko was my Statewide Liasion who made sure that I was taken care of and that both the contents portion and reconstruction of my home were in order. She answered questions and always made herself available.
Statewide was simply amazing. Never did I imagine my family and I would go though an experience like this. It was with their help and guidance that my family and I were able to stay strong for the 10 months we were out of our home and can finally enjoy such a beautiful house. Thank you Statewide and everyone who worked on our home.

Where do I begin?! This is the one and only company to work with if you are in need of remodel, tenant improvement, or even fire restoration! The staff is super friendly and helpful when it comes to selecting the material you'd like for the build, there's no pressure from their side which makes the construction part a whole lot less stressful! If it wasn't for Domus i don't know how long it would have taken me to complete my dream ice cream shop in Folsom! They have a huge selection of choices in their show room so I promise you won't be disappointed!! Oh don't forget to ask them about their special painter who will creat one of a kind custom hand painted work on your walls or even ceilings! My bathroom at my shop looks better then my house haha, but that was only possible because of the project manager who was very helpful with everything from day one to the last little detail (Alex Halo)! For my Second location I already know who to call for the build and design!

We called them after we they were referred to us by someone else... These guys were AMAZING! At first I wasn't sure, but after they took care of the repairs, they had a guy that painted a mural on our staircase and it looks incredible!!! I was really surprised at how well they did and how accurate they were by telling us what the price would be before even starting the job. I would highly recommend them!

My wife and I had a great experience with Domus Construction and Design. With our third child on the way, we needed a bigger place. A friend of mine had used Domus and suggested we use them to remodel our house before we put it on the market. We had them design and do all the construction. What was also refreshing was that they didn't try to sell me on extra stuff we didn't need. We gave them our budget and they did everything we wanted and more within that budget. I have now referred them to other friends of ours who all had similar 5 star experiences. I highly recommend them for any construction job you might need.

Had a fire at my storage facility. Called Statewide and worked with Peter and David, to get the process started and the repairs was led by Alex. Alex kept me informed throughout the process, very helpful and responsive. He help with suggestion on color, materials and even went out of his way to help with appliance needs. Alex is the MAN!
The resident office turn out beautiful and they finish it ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this company if you need any type of work done. A + in my books.

Had a house fire in our garage and it extended into the kitchen. A representative of thier company came out named Robert and was very informative. We had other contractors show up and just try to sell it. It seemed like they were more concerned about the sale then they were with what our needs were. At the end of the day, we trusted him and Statewide to do the work. They were phenomenal. Beautiful craftsmanship, upgraded some of our fixtures and were very professional and helpful throughout.

I highly recommend this company. They are a five star builder, truly. When it came to building my home, I was very impressed with their professionalism. I have built before with another builder and had a nightmare experience. There was no comparison beween the two companies.
Domus went above and beyond. I was expecting many change orders, as this is what I was used to with my previous experiance. I was shocked when they came in right in budget on this huge project.
The final project was more then impressive. All my friends are shocked.

This company is first class! I was really impressed with their craftsmanship and attention to detail when they rebuilt my ranch home. My wife had a blast working with their design team in Peking materials and other custom finishes at there Design Center. I was blown away with their facility as it's the nicest place I've seen here in town. I would recommend Domus and their team to anybody looking to build or remodel. They are a five star contractor.

I've been using Domus for various large size projects over the years. Their team is the most professional group of people that I know. In house architects and designers make the selection process very easy. When they built my cabin, I was shocked at the speed and the attention to detail. I'm looking to build a large custom to retire in and will not even consider anyone other then Domus.

I used Domus Construction to rebuild my 5000 sq ft home. My entire experience was outstanding. They did a perfect job. Considering that the project was so large, I was so surprised that they were able to complete it 2 month ahead of what I though was my expedited schedule. Everyone was professional, honest, and extremely good at what they do.
I highly recommend Domus for any project, especially if you are planning a new build or an entire renovation. You will be pleased.

Our experience with DOMUS CONSTRUCTION & Design has been exceptional. After our family had a fire my first thought was that we hit rock bottom. This was a really hard time for us and for our loved ones. We rushed into a decision and hired another company (not Domus) do to all the stress we were undergoing. This was a huge mistake.
The company we originally hired, made it clear to that they had no idea what they were doing. We were constantly getting lame excuses and never actually got a decent answer what will happen next. They made this process so much more stressful. Made huge promises and never delivered on any. When we switched to DOMUS CONSTRUCTION we understood that we made the right choice. During this hard time they made it so easy on us. Don't fall in the wrong hands. There are a lot of dishonest companies out there. Do your research.
We visited their facility and I was fascinated with how big it was. They had their own in house dry-cleaning, contents and storage which meant that my stuff would not be going to a second hand D/C or storage place. Our belongings, which were left after the fire, were cleaned and restored extremely fast, few weeks to be exact. I was shocked by that, since the other company said that it will take them months to do the same job. Our clothes and contents were clean and ready before our home was even finished. The employees that came out were really nice and professional. They tried to answer any and all questions I had, if they didn't know something they had their supervisors contact me. We got responses in few hours or the next day, unlike the other company.
My only complaint is that the construction managers mover very quickly. I originally thought that the rebuild of my home would take 6 months at the lease, but the Domus construction team is on schedule to do it in 3. This means that we have to make a lot of decisions in their showroom in fairly short order. I am glad about how organized their showroom is and that we don't have to go to a million places to make our selections. The work itself is very high end. They cut no corners.
I recommend this company to anyone going through a fire. Do your research and you will find like I did that this is the best company in town.

My Dad's rental property caught on fire last year and the house had to be completely redone. I was lucky enough to meet Aaron Turner from Statewide - A division of Domus Construction and Design at the house the day after the fire. He was very patient and walked me through the whole process starting with how to work with my dad's insurance company. David Stasyuk the Project Manager was great to work with. He helped with the design and upgrades to the house. He was extremely professional and all work was completed on time. We are very happy with the quality of the work and how responsive David was whenever we had questions about the project. We highly recommend Statewide for any restoration projects. The house turned out beautiful. Thank you to Aaron, David and all of the Statewide workers who worked on my dad's house.
