About Jason:
I have been building houses since High School, where they had a Building Trades Program. In my First year (1998) I was elected to Foreman. In 2000, I worked as a trim carpenter for a year before starting with a local design firm designing residential houses. I spent 5 years there and was promoted to a Senior drafter. After that I started my own business, specializing in trim carpentry and home design. I built my first house in 2006. I did every thing by hand from framing, insulation, drywall, tile, trim, retaining walls, to landscaping. After that I started building houses with some friends. In 2009 I started building cabinets in my 600 square foot shop at my house. Since then we have grown to a 3,000 square foot shop in Marion. In 2011 I started Dream Builders of Iowa. Since then I've built an average of 8 to 10 houses a year.
