    Purchased a new home
    $225,000

    We have experienced numerous problems with our home built by Drippe Homes. The home was advertised to come with a 1-year builder's warranty. However, since I have publicly announced the discrepancies with my home, Drippe Homes is now claiming that our home did not come with a warranty and is refusing to make the appropriate repairs unless I sign an NDA. I am now having to hire an attorney to take legal action against them. We are currently awaiting confirmation form an expert, but we suspect that the monoslab foundation they utilize was done incorrectly as well.

    I have attached a couple of pictures to show a few of the issues with our home that we have experienced.
    -Incorrectly installed flooring
    -cracks in the granite countertops
    -dents in the garage door
    -bathroom flooring peeling up
    -snow coming into our house through a bathroom exhaust vent
    -chunk of cement missing in the foundation and the flooring guys just installed the carpet right over it
    -poor paint throughout the house
    -nail pops throughout the house
    -incorrect flashing used on the outside of the house
    -frost buildup inside the walls

    Drippe Homes did not complete a pre-closing walkthrough as per our contract. We were told by Cathy Lutz that this would occur after closing due to us closing so close to Christmas. Drippe Homes is no longer willing to correct any of the builder deficiencies and will no longer talk to me. They have left no choice but to take legal action against them.

    New Home Construction

    We recently moved into our new home built by Drippe' Construction. The timeline for construction went as expected and the availability of products and services for construction was excellent. There were only a few very minor corrections to the original plans along the way. The Project Manager, John Henry Tardiff, was excellent to work with and responded in a timely manner to every question we had during construction and after closing. Other Drippe' employees, Devin and TJ, were excellent in constructing and completing wood finishes. Brandi Whisler at Carpet One was excellent at providing great ideas for everything from interior paint to carpet and carpet padding. We have been impressed with the timely follow-up of subcontractors for a few minor issues. The Warranty Specialist, Steve, has been very responsive and helpful. Thanks to all on the Drippe' Team for a quality constructed home. We love it!

    This was a new build townhome

    Bought new townhome in Lawrence, KS a year ago in July 2020. We were suppose to have a 1 year walk through to fix any issues in the home. Was told had to put in our requests for repairs through a website of theirs along with photos of every issue. I did what they told me to do after many times of emailing and calling because the website had issues. Finally they got that fixed and I uploaded all the photos along with requests. I emailed several times or contacted Rick at Drippe to find out when they were going to schedule a walk through. Was given many excuses, too busy now, will call you back, etc. July came no word. I call them. They said they had no records of me uploading photos or requests for repairs. So had to email the requests. They send Rick's brother out to look at the issues. Never heard back from them so texted Rick again who then told me my year was up and they wouldn't be repairing the issues. I contact my agent who contacted Mickey who sent me on to a B. Whisler . Two main important ones were the shower pan in master bedroom had what look to be paint drops on floor but wouldn't come off. Had something to do with the onyx. They fixed that. The carpet issues B. Whisler told me it was an easy fix and they would get the transitions needed to fix carpet. I get no word several times so I am texting back & forth with Whisler only to get the run around that they don't know where the order is, or the shipment has been lost, they can reorder and have FedEx ship fast but now they can't find the order again at Carpet One in Topeka. Who ever signed for it doesn't work at that location????...Really...then why are they signing for a shipment at that location if they don't work there? Our carpet has pulled away from the laminate floor and looks horrid going to each bedroom and master bath. I have been given the run around on several occasions, lied to by Rick and his brother. I was told that Drippe was a highly reputable builder. But as always once you sign on the dotted line and they get their money both your real estate agent and the builder/contractor wash their hands of you. Catherine C. Williams
