My entire house is falling apart. Cracks everywhere, along with doors that will not close. I can see my subfloor in some spots. My house is four years of age ,and is in worse shape than homes constructed fifty years ago. I have nails pushing through the dry wall. I don't feel safe in my house and feel as if the roof could collapse at anytime. First attempt to confront the issues were met with a worker who said that it is all is normal settling. He sanded the top of my door down so that it would close, ignoring the gaping quarter-inch crack in the drywall above the it. The crack worsened and once again my door will not close. The second meeting for resolving the situation was met with no info or opinion as to what the underlying cause of the problem was. We were offered a warranty extension for a house that could never pass inspection, or be sold. This was my first house I bought, and I put a lot of time making it my home. It absolutely sickens me that my new house that I bought ,for the sake of not having such problems, is degrading rapidly. New cracks are appearing daily. I am beyond exasperated with my situation, and feel robbed that my homeowner dream has turned into a nightmare.
