This contractor left work unfinished and refused to pay subcontractors for work they completed -- holding the subcontractor's payment hostage as a way to get paid a final payment for work that was never completed nearly four months after the work should have been done.
We attempted to resolve the issues but they were not reasonable to work with and we ended up paying subcontractors fees and will be attempting to get reimbursed -- hopefully without going to court.
