Founded in 1910 by civil engineer Edward “Pop” Elford, Elford Inc. has operated continuously in Columbus, Ohio for over a century. The company is now in its fifth generation of family leadership and operates as a proudly employee-owned firm. Elford Inc. serves the greater Columbus area, drawing on a longstanding tradition of integrity and open communication established by its founder. Notable historical projects include the construction of a major local bridge in Dublin and the execution of a Greek temple-inspired memorial, completed under the direction of architects Eric Fisher Wood and Henry H. Hornbostel in the 1920s.
