    Build my house
    $500,000

Probably the worst home buying experience one could imagine. The sales team was great, but that’s about where the good stuff ended. The construction process was terrible to say the least. The construction manager was combative at times, failed to answer most of the questions my wife and I had, and did not reply to any communication my wife and I tried in a timely manner.

During the construction process we ran into many delays and noticed a lot of workmanship issues that we asked to be addressed. Sadly the answer was just along the lines of “this is the way it’s going to be, so deal with it”. Our house has been completed for around a month and there are still many issues on our closing sheet that have not been addressed. I sadly suggest any other home builder besides Kindred. All is just my opinion though.

    Build a home

Long review: but BUYER BEWARE!! Worth your while to read to the end...

If I could give this home builder's company "0" stars I would. My experience to get a new home built by them was an awful experience...but Glory to God that it happened before I completed the purchase. I TERMINIATED my contract and walked away from $2500 to do so. The site representative, from the onset of our interaction which started in Feb 2020, did not demonstrate knowledge or expertise in the home building/home selling business, and the owner(s) failed to hold him accountable. The rep gave answers that were later found out to be erroneous, which can be costly to the buyer. When I recognized this fact, instead of walking away from the contract at that time, I changed to a different model of home because I just DID NOT want to loose the earnest money of $2500. After the change in floor plans to better accommodate my family needs, he continued to fall behind on submitting my paperwork for processing, made mistakes on choices for the interior design options that were covered by builder versus buyer upgrades; he wasn't aware of available resources when problems with flooring and appliances occurred to problem solve. His lack of knowledge left me in temporary housing, living out of boxes for almost a month longer than I needed to have been. My financial portion was out of underwriting and ready for close date while the representative was still trying to figure out how to get carpet installed and appliances delivered to the house. His attitude about the lack of knowledge was so flippant that I finally TERMINATED my contract and walked away leaving the money on the table. Enough was enough!! Now...you know this was a tough decision!! 2 days after my realtor sent the final termination email, he then figured out he needed to CYA (cover his butt). He called me to request how he could resolve all the mistakes and errors and get the contract back active. Through prayer and meditation, I was led to 'WALK AWAY"...NO AMOUNT OF MONEY WAS WORTH ME MAKING A DEAL WITH THIS DEVIL". So, I declined his multiple and generous offers to "make things right". Found another beautiful home by 'BLOOMFIELD HOMES' that was brand new, in a better location of the city, larger lot (almost an 1/2 acre lot, plenty of back yard), $10K less expensive and ready to move in immediately. This home was upgraded beyond my imagination!!! My gift from God for being obedient to the Spirit's guidance. My last words to anyone considering doing business with KINDRED HOMES...do so at your own risk.

    new home build

They stink! Dishonest and terrible quality. So many problems to numberous to count. In the first year in our home the floor tile has cracked all the way through 3 rooms, TWICE. They had to come out and fix it because it was under warranty. They are dishonest and don't care. Never call back and take the cheap way EVERY time. Currently we have a crack in our ceiling that is about a quarter of an inch wide as well as many other smaller cracks. House is 3 years old. Just look at their web site and notice how the BLOG button doesn't work. Wonder why? Many people in our neighborhood were screwed by them. BUYER beware.

    Build a house
    $253,000

    Worst experience ever
They seem to think workers pissing in the bath tub and shower is normal and this chirs guy that is supposed to be the builder is never around and let's his workers drink on the job and doesn't think it's wrong. Had many things wrong and he only wanted to put a bandaid on them and not fix them right I really recommend staying away from this builder.

    new home
    $427,000
    300 days

    They suck.
    1) You have to make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing before you sign your contract because they FORGET things
    2) you have to make sure if it is an upgrade
    3) each home is built different for the same floor plan make sure what you see is what you get if not your in for ALOT of headaches/high blood pressure TRUST me I went through it , not fun
    4) hire a home inspector NOT the ones from Wall Homes it will be well worth it.
    A) I have a wall that has a bulge in it they NEVER came back to fix it or take a second look at it.
    B) I have a wall that is not straight did not notice it until I looked at the tile floor.
    5) take NOTES of every meeting with sales agent and the date so you can go back and review them. That way they can't say we did not discuss that or the closing date is father back than they promised.
    A) our house was pushed back by 3 weeks due to them DRAGGING their feet and NOT the rain/weather
    B) our neighbors house was pushed back 3 months due to them DRAGGING their feet. and not the weather
    6) if buying an inventory home hire an inspector that way you can point out the flaws and have them drop the price.
You are buying a $400,0000 plus home make sure that is what you are paying for and not poor quality, sub-standard home that the contractor cut corners to make more profit for themselves.
Last but not least they put in plastic/acrylic windows in their master bathroom. REALLY you are paying for almost a half MILLION dollar home and have plastic windows and get this !!! They SAY that is what other builders do on multi-million dollar homes
