I am a Louisiana licensed architect. I also work full time as a plan review Architect for the Louisiana State Fire Marshals office. I currently cannot work on Commercial projects due to the fact that I review them. I can do Residential work for single and two-family homes. I have 22 years of experience in the Architectural industry. I have an Associate I do projects with on occasion who is also a licensed Architect and a Louisiana licensed contractor. I can offer a number of services from the early conceptual design phase through permit submittal. I provide Construction Administration to an extent, but I do not provide it on a full-time basis daily during construction.
I am thorough and want things to be done correctly. I would prefer to spend time with the clients in the design phase to make sure it is what they will be happy with. It is easier to change things in the computer than once they are built and the client says, " That doesn't look right to me."
Due to my full-time job, I work after hours and weekends. I am easy to reach via email or cell phone. At times, I may have to get to lunchtime during the work week to respond. I am not trying to start off negative, I just want to be upfront with you.
I draw everything in CAD. I have a Structural Engineer consultant I bring in on projects when necessary. I have contacts in a number of areas in the Architectural and Construction industry. I would like to talk to you on the phone tomorrow to discuss a bit more about this proposed project and others I may help you with.
