First Place Painting

Hello. My name is Bill, and I would like to thank you for giving First Place Painting and myself the opportunity to care for your home.

My goal is for you to have the best experience you’ve ever had with a contractor. I’m going to do that by using top of the line materials, putting an emphasis on prep work and providing amazing customer service. I pride myself on doing what I say I’m going to do, finishing what I start and having happy customers that want to refer me to future clients. Because in this line of work, your reputation and your word are the only thing you have. Because of that, I’m going to go above and beyond to make sure you’re satisfied with the final product.

About Myself: I was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. I went to Father Judge high school (class of 2000). I then went to the Pennsylvania State University (class of 2004) where I double majored in Marketing and International Business. I started painting houses right after I graduated as a way to pay off student loans and I always wanted to start my own business one day. Eleven years later, I’m living that dream. I have my own company, I have happy employees, and I have happy customers. I currently live in East Norriton, PA (Montgomery County) with my wife Amee. My wife is a kindergarten teacher at Conshohocken Elementary and when I’m not spending time with her, my hobbies include fantasy football and watching Netflix. I also enjoy traveling. The most beautiful city I’ve been to is Prague in the Czech Republic.

About My Company: At First Place Painting, we do things a little different than most contractors. Instead of showing up at the estimate (when they eventually do show up) and eyeballing your project for 5 minutes and giving you a price on the back of a business card, I’m going to take the time to get to know you, get to know what you’re hoping to accomplish with your painting project and also why. I really want to give you the paint job that YOU want as opposed to the one that’s going to cost you the most money. And after I quote you a price, that price won’t change unless you add something or take something away from the job. I also only hire people that share my same vision for quality and customer service. I won’t hire anyone that I wouldn’t feel comfortable painting my own mother’s home. I stand by my work and my warranties. Although in 11 years of business, only 1-2% of my clients ever have the need to call in a warranty, because if it’s done right, a paint job should last 7-15 years.

I’ve painted homes everywhere from Pittsburgh to the Poconos, from North Jersey to South Jersey. I’ve even painted homes in Maryland and in different parts of Washington D.C. and Virginia. We’ve even painted restaurants on the show “Restaurant Impossible”! I’ll go the extra mile to make sure that you’re happy with the work that we do, especially in Philadelphia, the city I call home.
