When we first met, Tony told me if he's sees shoddy work, he helps the homeowner go after and sue the contractor so they can't do the same thing to anyone else. I'm still debating my next move with Tony. He is utterly incompetent. He has terrible time management skills and will go days without working and then work into the night ONE day and pretend like he's a "beast" with a huge work ethic. Don't walk from him. Run! Run like the wind. I hired him to 1) Rip out a bathroom and redrywall, 2 drywall a master closet and 3) drywall a family room. He work was in a word ATROCIOUS. His cuts in the drywall were terrible. They don't make plates big enough to cover his mess. He didn't pull forward outlets, he used corner bead in correctly, didn't screw screws in all the way, sanded into the grooves on the drywall, didn't sand some sections at all, couldn't put in a pre-hung door, tape marks everywhere. Simply terrible. He took ZERO precautions to cover my floors or the workspace. My carpet only a few years old has drywall mud ground into it. He was over a month late in delivering his HORRIBLE job costing me thousand of dollars and requiring me to hire someone new. He will say because the city was so slow with the permits, but over half the work didn't require a permit and he simply wasn't here working. There's no excuse for what he did to my house. He talks a million miles a minute and has an excuse for everything. My great hope is this review saves someone the extreme hassle of having to work with Tony. He should not ever take another job until he spends a year apprenticing with someone that actually knows what they are doing.
When I told Tony I planned to sue him for damages, he started making up all these lies about why he did the things he did. ZERO INTEGRITY. Terrible work and terrible person.

Took a year and 4 months to remodel a three season porch. Wish I had read the BBB reviews before hiring on Thumbtack. Absolute worst "professional" I have ever hired.
Would say I'll show up tomorrow or next week and never show up and then a month or more would go by and would show up randomly with no notice whatsoever and do a couple of hours of work. Failed inspection 4 times before finally passing. Tony's Foreman Jeremy had the nerve to tell my wife "this has gone on long enough," in September after it has been a year, as though we could control how infrequently they would show up or all the corners they tried cutting that needed to be corrected.
Slopped paint all over my porch screen, lawn chairs (which they used to paint instead of their own ladders) and house. Installed screen doors in the porch backwards since they bought the wrong doors. The latches don't connect and they just put in a deadbolt instead.
Around 2 weeks after Christmas they showed up again after a couple of months and rushed to finish up to get paid. They just finished up painting the handrail on the stairs on a 36*F day in February and I was told by the foreman due to the paint eroding from the snow melting dripping down the from the roof that he left us the paint can and a brush to touch it up.
