I got into the construction business in Charlotte when I moved here from Ohio 32 years ago. My father was in construction for over 42 years. His company built municipal water treatment plants and infrastructure for municipalities. I originally went to work in Charlotte for McDevitt and Street as a superintendent. I then struck out on my own and started my own business.
We perform small commercial upfits and house remodeling under the supervision of my son Jay and myself. I oversee New Home construction as I've built over 60 new homes in my career. My son Nick runs the office as he is wheelchair bound and he does a great job for us. We are NC state building licensed and carry liability insurance at all times.
