My experience with Mike Tedoldi was the worst contractor experience I’ve ever had.
The project was not completed as promised, the workmanship was a joke and unacceptable. Numerous issues arose that should never occur on a professionally managed renovation. We dealt with work that deviated from the agreed plans, defective workmanship, water intrusion, damaged materials, and repeated concerns that ultimately required additional time, money, and stress to address.
Rather than taking responsibility and standing behind his work, Mike chose to take us to court. After hearing the evidence, the court ruled in our favor.
That outcome confirmed what we had been saying all along.
Hiring a contractor requires trust, honesty, craftsmanship, and accountability. Unfortunately, my experience with Mike Tedoldi lacked all four. I would strongly encourage anyone considering hiring him to do extensive research, verify references, inspect completed projects firsthand, and make sure every detail is documented in writing before signing a contract.
I would never hire him again, and I cannot recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, professional contractor.
