GCIII CARPENTRY is a company that is devoted to the highest standard quality work for all your interior trim work, includes doors and window casings, crown moldings, all types of wall paneling and base boards. We also install pre-hung interior doors, along with knock down doors, high end custom doors and custom sound studio doors.
GCIII CARPENTRY Also installs all exterior doors and windows using the highest quality water intrusion products to ensure that there will be the proper seal. We also follow the manufactures installation instruction to whichever manufacturer you choose to secure your warranty.
Gene Cathy III owner of GCIII CARPENTRY has been a licensed C-6 contractor which is a specialty millworks and finish carpentry license since 2008. He has been a builder since 1985. His construction career includes:
Hands on deconstructing and building from start to finish of state of the art recording studios. Working with the top of the line studio builders and music engineers.
Commercial work which includes steel stud framing, drywall and t-bar ceilings. 1985-1990
His hands on high end residential career started which includes every phase of construction from demoing, framing, drywall, doors and windows installation till the completion. This lead to his next phase in his career. 1990-1995
Becoming a supervisor of high end custom residential remodels. He would coordinate and schedule all of the trades, meeting with Architects, engineers, building inspectors and working along side the clients and would host bi-weekly meetings to ensure that every need was met. 1995-2003
The next phase of his career was becoming a project manager. The first project he managed was a 5 year project. Gene managed anywhere from a 25 person crew to a 50 person crew per day. It was construction of a main house, guest house, pool cabana, pool with swim up bar and palapa, a massive waterfall with fire features along with very detailed architectural designs and layouts on the interior and exteriors of all 3 structures. 2003-2008
GCIII CARPENTRY The final choice and the most enjoyable type of construction from the vast 34 years of a construction career. The choice was the carpentry trade the one to continue to pursue with the highest standards.
