Since its creation in 1993, Geneva Homes has focused primarily on new construction of semi-custom single family residences. John distinguished himself from other builders in the area by including as standard many of the features others charged extra for such as 9-foot ceilings on the first floor, fireplace, whirl pool tub in the master suite, walk-in closets and hardwood flooring.

In recent years, Geneva Homes has added affordable vacation homes to its product mix. These vacation homes include many of the same standard features Geneva Homes is known for, as well as large front porches, dormers and low maintenance exterior features. These homes are often built on lots with close proximity to the lake.

As former Vice-President of operations for Landmark Homes in Long Grove, Illinois, John Bakken was responsible for managing customer service and producing luxury custom and semi-custom homes. Lisa Bakken served as Financial Manager for Landmark, and today uses her fiscal skills to make sure you get the most home for your money.
