GF Rice Construction
At G. F. Rice Construction Inc. it is our belief that the best service we can provide to our customers is to give them the information they need to make educated and informed decisions about their new home. Whether you are planning to build a new home or considering buying an existing one, we would gladly try to answer any questions you may have. Trust G. F. Rice Construction for your quality construction needs in Wilson, Nash, Edgecombe, Pitt, Green and Beaufort Counties.
We are not a “tract” builder. We don’t mass produce anything. We only build a few homes a year, and never have any two at the same stage at the same time. Like fielding a ball team, we use the best craftsmen or artisans we know for each job.
We typically “stick” build using masonry foundations, southern yellow pine and SPF lumbar. We do however incorporate engineered products of all sorts into our homes. Some home designs as well as local building codes dictate various building components (i.e. engineered floor and roof systems, preformed foundations etc.) As new products, materials, and techniques become available, we carefully evaluate their advantages to the time honored traditional means that we have used in the past. Each new home is built with the products and procedures that we feel would best serve our customers’ needs.
We will do our very best to try to help you as our customer understand as many aspects of what goes into your new home as you care to know.
