Founded in 2001 by husband and wife team Roger and Brenda Hair, the company serves a variety of both residential and commercial clients. Residential projects range from room additions to beautiful new homes filled with custom touches. Working from your plans and concept drawings, we can bring to life your dream home. Our commercial projects range from small up-fits to full service new construction.
Our Goal
Our goal is to fulfill a niche that big commercial contractors hesitate to fill. We specialize in helping you with your business transitions, whether it is to accommodate a new manufacturing line in your factory, retrofitting aspects of your existing operations or building new office space. Our goal is to be the best ‘up-fitting’ company in the triad area. For us, we strive to have happy customers where we have truly exceeded their expectations. When you adjust or expand your business to meet changing economic conditions, we want to help the change go as smoothly as possible. Many times, these construction up-fits must take place during existing operational periods. We have experience working with our clients to limit this impact.
A Passion for Aesthetics and Historical Restoration
One of the unique areas our company specializes in is custom trim, moldings and decorative woodwork. With a passion and years of experience in restorations of historic properties, Roger and Brenda were recognized in 2015 by the North Carolina Department of Commerce/Main Street Program for their restoration and reuse of the Washington Street Lofts Apartments project in Eden, NC.

Commercial clients depend on their personal one-on-one working relationships with Hair General Contractors, Inc. to insure projects are managed in a cost effective, time sensitive manner. Whether it’s a creative up-fit to existing space or conventional construction services, they approach every building project with the same commitment to quality and cost effective project management.
