    new home construction

    The best contractor in the Auburn area hands down. Jan and team built our home on time, on schedule and on budget. After 4 years, we haven't had a single problem with the home and it looks as new as the day it was completed. I can't speak highly enough of Haldeman Homes.

    Custom Home

    My wife and I retained Haldeman Homes to build our custom home in Auburn, CA after our previous contractor violated the city permit laws and absconded with our deposit. (He is now out of business)

    Jan Haldeman & Kellie Haldeman came to our rescue and built a quality custom home for us at a reasonable/affordable price. They assisted us in redesigning our home and provided us with cost saving options at every step to insure we stayed on budget. Unlike some contractors, Haldeman Homes did not present us with any surprises, extra fees or hidden charges. Everything was according to our contract or in the case of a change order we were clearly informed before incurring any additional expense.

    Jan Haldeman was especially gracious with his time and answered all our questions and kept us informed throughout the build process. His organization and communication skills by far made the build process for us enjoyable and free of stress. He was on the job every day and provided us with frequent status reports. We never had any concerns with Haldeman Homes in charge.

    New home construction comes with a one-year warranty. Over two-years after our home was completed, we discovered a minor issue with a water pipe. Nonetheless, Haldeman Homes leaped into action, made the necessary repairs and did not charge a penny for the service, even though our warranty had expired. Haldeman Homes clearly stands firm on their commitment to quality service!

    Haldeman Homes is an outstanding company operated by ethical people steeped with integrity. They take tremendous pride in the quality of service they provide to the community and are committed to serving their clients.

    My wife and I were also impressed with the subcontractors Haldeman Homes employs. Many of the subcontractors have worked with Haldeman Homes for many years and each and everyone of them provided us with excellent craftsmanship and service.

    If we could rate Haldeman Homes more than five stars we definitely give them ten out of ten.

    My wife and I were not paid for this endorsement nor were we promised anything in return for our recommendation. The facts as stated herein represent our personal experience with Haldeman Homes. If we ever build another home we will definitely retain Haldeman Homes to contract the job

    Kitchen repair after water leak
    $10,000

    Haldeman Construction was recommended by Servpro, said they would do a good job for me. They came out within an hour from the time I called. Mr . Haldeman and his estimator were very professional and friendly, said they would call me the next day with an estimate, they called the same day with the estimate. All the other contractors I spoke with were at least a few days away or several weeks. I chose Haldeman Construction and was not disappointed. They did a fantastic job refurbishing my kitchen. My wife and I were very happy with their work and professionalism. I would recommend them to anyone that asked.
