iGreen was contracted by my father in August of 2019 to install a solar/backup battery system on his home in San Jose, Ca. After 3 years of delays, excuses, and payments totalling nearly $50k, the system does not work. iGreen does not return messages now that they've been paid. They left my elderly, handicapped mother with a nonfunctional system and they don't care. At best iGreen is unprofessional and unethical. Beware of iGreen.

    Roof Repair & Installation

I interviewed three roofers before signing with Victor at iGreen Repair. My flat roof was soft and weak, and it felt like it was going to give way. In addition, I had a lake on my roof that was huge and held 3" of water that I drained off with a sump pump every time it rained. One roofer said nothing was wrong. Another told me I needed to have the pitched tile roof and the flat roof totally redone. A third said all they needed to do was fix the leak in my bathroom.

No one wanted to listen to me about the ponding on the roof ("All flat roofs retain water") But not that much! I asked all of them if they would cut into the TPO roof and peel it back to see if the problem was termites. Victor was the only one willing to do that. The part he cut open showed no termite damage. The fact that Victor listened to me and did what the three other contractors refused to do were enough for me to sign the contract.

Unfortunately, there was termite damage on the side of the roof opposite of the area he had opened it up for inspection. A LOT of it. No one could have seen that coming, including a professional in the industry. Instead of a strip and re-roof, the damage was so extensive that the whole flat roof needed to be rebuilt down to the rafters. They did an awesome job and were done way sooner than anyone would ever expect.

No one in LA needs to be told about the sketchiness of contractors here. But Victor promised to be here at the beginning of every day, and he followed through with that. We texted from the signing date until completion, and he kept me informed throughout the work days of all activity. I fully trust this guy and his crew. They worked hard and clean and didn't leave so much as a nail behind. The first day they worked 14 hours from 7 am into the night. I was amazed at their stamina! Their dedication and willingness to do a 3 or 4 day job in 2 days before rain came was extraordinary, and I so appreciate their hard work.

Victor was very sympathetic with this plight, and his fee was reasonable, considering the scope of work that had gone from mundane to major overnight. I feel very fortunate to have found an honest roofing company that kept me informed of the details before, during, and after the work was completed. As long as I live here, and as long as they are in business, this will be the only roofing company I will use. I have been through several roofers in the past 20 years, and not one has the integrity or has been as honest, dependable and fair as iGreen Remodeling.

I owe a ton of gratitude to Victor and his crew. It isn't often in Long Beach that you run into a contractor this golden! Check his other reviews. There is a reason he has nothing but five stars.

    Remodel my Property

With no money out of our pockets, we managed to get over $75k over our initial asking price. iGreen took care of our remodeling projects & never charged us a dime until our house sold. We're so thankful that our realtor recommended us iGreen.

    Roof and Solar Panels
    $66,150

I had my roof redone, insulation added, asbestos removed, and solar panels added.

I was able to change the brand of the solar panels to the brand of my choice. I got exactly the solar panel system that I wanted assuming charging an electric car 17 kWh per day and using air conditioning.

There was a small problem with one of the workers. He told me that he won’t install insulation in my garage. So as a naive new homeowner I said ok. It really was my fault. I should have talked to the project manager about it instead of the unknowledgeable worker. Then later I talked to my mom. So I brought this up with IGreen after the contract was signed as finished. What I’m really happy about is that I already signed that the work was completed but IGreen rectified the problem. They did come back and add insulation in my garage.

The project manager is a nice lady. I recommend IGreen for your solar and roofing needs.

    Kitchen Remodeling
    $20,000

So, where can I start? From the first moment we message them through Yelp to the last moment, when they all left our home. The experience was amazing, full of joy & fun moments.

We started by deciding to upgrade our kitchen. We knew it was that time! We bought our home 25 years ago & we knew that one day, we had to upgrade our kitchen to something more modern. Well, that time arrived so we decided to shop around for quotes on our kitchen remodel project. One of the first companies we decided to contact was iGreen. We found them here on Yelp just like the other companies that we got in contact with, we never had to go to craigslist or classifieds, we knew the reputation Yelp has so we decided to focus on finding someone we can trust with our home & money, & we decided to keep it Yelp only.

After contacting iGreen, they called us & schedule our free quote. The sales rep, David, was such an amazing guy to work with, smart & creative, knowing what we wanted after just a few minutes of talking, he right away showed us photos of other projects that matched the size & distentions of our kitchen & right away we knew he knew what we wanted.

After talking with David & seen samples of floors, cabinets, lights, countertops, painting & so on, we decided to move forward & find out more about what we needed to start our project. David was so helpful & full of information, he explained & showed us the options that we had, including financing options.

So we decided to go with iGreen, why you may ask? well, we had about 5-6 quotes on our Kitchen but none of them showed interest or energy to work with us but iGreen. iGreen from the first day we meet, we felt their energy & motivation to bring our kitchen to life. So my husband & I felt secure & comfortable letting iGreen dealt with our project, & we're so glad we did.

So the day finally arrived! It was time for our kitchen to come back to life! We felt so exited seeing the construction crew showing up to our home, it was the first time in more than a decade that we had heavy construction going on at our home & we had completely forgotten that beautiful feeling of seeing your home get a face-lift & look like new. We were so exited with this project, specially my husband, for him, doing all the shopping, searching for the perfect floor, cabinets, counter-top, lighting fixtures & so on, it got him motivated.

The construction crew was super friendly & understood all the requirements & notes that we left for them. From not making too much noise so we wouldn't bother our neighbors, to taking care of our lawn, carpets & floors while walking & working around the home. The crew followed all of our notes, they kept the noise down, specially while using power tools & never made a mess or left trash around. They would pickup & collect any tool or trash that was laying around before going home every day. By the afternoon it seemed that no one was ever here. That's how clean & back-to-normal our home was every afternoon once the crew left for the day.

Once the job was completed, David kept on checking with us to make sure everything was the way we wanted it, well, it wasn't the way we wanted it, we never expected the result we got, it blew our minds away, my kids, my neighbors, everyone came to see our new kitchen & they just can't believe the way it looks now, they joke around saying our kitchen don't belong in our home, it belongs to a million-dollar home but somehow David & his crew managed to make it fit in our home.

We're so happy & exited, we just can't described the way we feel with one word. So far, for the past 20 years, remodeling our home was the best choice we had ever made. My husband is so proud of our kitchen, he brings his friends for supper just to show off our new kitchen. My kids love it, now they want to remodel their own kitchens after seeing ours & all thanks to David, his crew & iGreen for bringing our dream to reality. The floors, the lighting fixtures, the countertops, cabinets, everything is just so beautiful, now I'm in love with my kitchen, thank you guys for such an amazing adventure, now we're looking into solar power & may reach back yo you again. We will also keep you updated just in case our neighbors or kids decide to remodel their kitchens as well.

Thank you from everyone in my family... you guys are the best, highly recommended...

    Install our Solar Power System
    $20,500

my wife wanted us to switch to solar power since last year after she seen the savings our friends been having since making the switch to solar power too. So we decided to do our research online about solar power and the benefits of it. Searching online we came across igreen, a local solar company, we contacted them & schedule an appointment to meet with one of their representatives. The solar representative was really friendly and polite, he explained everything we needed to know about solar power and the financing options they had at the moment. After my wife and I saw the benefits and how our home will gain value and all the money we can save every month by using solar instead of the regular electric company, we decided to go with the installation. The installation was quick and clean, igreen made it sure not to leave any trash behind. Before the technicians left, they give us more information about how our solar system was going to perform, all the benefits of it, and how we can benefit from it. We found this really professional since my wife and I have no knowledge of solar power. Now, is been 3 months since the installation and everything is working amazing, my wife and I are extremely happy with the investment we did and the results we got. Thank you guys, we're really happy the way you guys did all the work!

Install Solar Panels at my property
    $26,800

So me & my wife decided to do some math & find out how much we've been spending on our electricity bill... In just 5 years alone, we have paid over $15,000 to the electric company, an amount that really left us in shock. Has a citizen in Texas, we're always experiencing severe weather conditions, so we'll have blackouts here & there, but now that we're older, those blackouts are getting more dangerous for me & my wife...My son-in-law decided to switch to Solar Power & hes been bragging about how much he enjoys it & all the benefits he received when he made the switch, including tax credit. Now he pays a few bucks for electricity,  from $250 a month to $7-$20 dollars a month. After we seen the benefits of it, we decided to go ahead & make the switch. We contacted iGreen Remodeling, the same company that did the job for my son-in-law. They sent a Solar rep to explain to us the process & the benefits. Their Solar rep Alex showed up on time, really a nice person to deal with & very informative. He explained to us all the benefits of going solar, the financing options, how much money we can save & so on. After we saw a few samples, we decided to go with the Roof Installation (they also have ground Installation). We ended up setting up a time for the installation & let them take care of all the work. When we came back home, we saw the work they did, everything was amazing, the finished work, no trash left, no damage, no signs of them ever been here, just our Solar Panels in the roof. Now is been 5 months & we're in love with our Solar service. We waited a few months before leaving the review just in case we were unsatisfied, but we're not, we're really happy & pleased of the decision me & my wife made... Our town when through one blackout already but we didn't had to worry about , actually we didn't even knew until the following day, since we had electricity, we never notice we had a blackout...
if you want to make the switch to Solar, iGreen is the people you should get in contact with...professional, clean, effective, affordable, friendly, really lovely people to work with.....they won't disappoint you!
