    General contractor that flipped house that I bought.

    Ironic Name - No integrity, does not appear competent.

    I’m very late to get this review shared. Buying another house about a year now, about 15 months after buying a “flipped” home from Integrity Development Services, reminds me that I should provide a review in the hope that it helps others avoid what I went through. Integrity is a very ironic name for anything associated with this builder and presumably Tom Glaspie if my experience is not an exception. We could not obtain responses to our inquiries about the construction on our home from Tom or anyone when we were working though the inspection. It’s our fault for not walking away, but we shouldn’t have discovered the shoddy work and lack of integrity in any case. Only after closing did we realize that Tom and company had put a controller on a broken heat pump to make it look operational. The only thing that worked was the emergency heat. The heat pump needed to be replaced. There is no way a worthwhile general contractor would not have known this. We also noticed after fixing the heat pump that air was not coming into the bathroom vent. We took off the cover and found the ducting to that room disconnected below the vent, aimed into a dead space between the outer wall and drywall with no insulation, and completely plugged up with drywall scrap anyway. It is amazing that a contractor would allow himself or his team to do this. We had to replace a garden window with soaked wood from a leak that was surely obvious before a thick layer of paint was applied in flipping. Many other shockingly simple (inexpensive to do correctly) things have been found as we go along: improperly wired light switches , carpet tack strips poking into our feet, windows that molded around the edges and trim once we moved in, etc. These are not things one would typically catch in an inspection, but instead one relies on a seller with competence, ethics, and integrity.
