Action Roofing was established in Santa Barbara in 1985 by Jack Martin, CEO and active general manager of the company. Through the years we have grown to 95 full time employees, many have been with us since the company started. We have worked hard to develop an excellent reputation in the local community. We carry full insurance of both general liability and worker's compensation, with a policy of one million dollars for your protection. We are members of the Better Business Bureau, Western States Roofing Contractors Association and the National Roofing Contractors Association. The owner of Action Roofing, Jack Martin, is an active board member of the Santa Barbara Contractors Association.

We perform all types of roofing, both commercial and residential. The majority of our business focuses on re-roofing single family homes, condominiums and commercial properties; additionally, we have recently developed an extensive roof maintenance division for both industrial and residential properties. We are certified applicators of most major materials manufacturers, including Certainteed, Carlisle, Eagle, U.S. Tile, Redlands Tile and many more. In 2006, I.B. Roof Systems named Action Roofing California Contractor of the Year and in 2009 we received our award for installation of two million squares of their product. Our crews have years of experience in the installation of all types of roofing including tile, synthetic shake roofing, slate and standing seam metal roofing. We also have a full sheet metal fabrication shop, two full-time carpentry crews and two mobile seamless gutter machines in order to complete all phases of the roof related work thereby eliminating the wait time for other trades necessary to keep jobs moving. We have crews available 24 hours a day for emergency calls during the rainy season and utilize a vehicle-based GPS tracking system to shorten our response time.
