Jim Foreman and Sons was started by Jim Foreman in 1985, originally named Jim Foreman Carpentry. Jim had humble beginnings as a one man show. He set out to create a company that would prioritize craftsmanship and customer relationships over profit. Through hard work and dedication (and a lot of help from his wife, Cheryl, behind the scenes) Jim was able to continue on as a one man enterprise for over 30 years servicing , the North Shore, New Hampshire, Boston, and beyond.

Once his sons, Justin and Joe, were of age to help, Jim began to tutor both in the carpentry trade. Some years later thanks to growing success and an expanding list of loyal customers the business has grown significantly. Jim made the decision it was time to enlist some full time help and thus Jim Foreman and Sons was born.

Jim, Justin, and Joe all share the same passion for the construction industry. Being able to help bring our customers home is no small task but it is one in which we take great pride. Perhaps the passion is best explained with the help of our dogs (Kya, Kenzi, and Bear). All three are German Shepherd Dogs or GSD for short. This breed is best known for their fierce loyalty, unwavering determination, and cunning intelligence that enables them to complete any task at hand. Jim Foreman and Sons holds these values close at heart as is evident by our choice in dogs. We strive to live out these values each day while serving our customers. In fact, don't be surprised if one of the dogs makes a visit to the job sites from time to time just to make sure the three guys are staying on task!
