It all started in 1968, when Jim Tatman decided to enter a relatively new business selling mobile homes. For the next 19 years, Jim Tatman’s Mobile Homes, Inc. grew to become one of the best known mobile home companies in South Louisiana.

On his retirement in 1986, Pa-Pa Tat’s daughter and son-in-law purchased the business and expanded Jim Tatman’s Mobile Homes, Inc. to its current two-location enterprise. Through competitive pricing and excellent service, Jim Tatman’s Mobile Homes, Inc. has become the premier manufactured home dealer in the area. It’s family owned mentality and excellent reputation have propelled us to a position of excellence in the manufactured housing community.

For over 50 years we have sold entire families homes through our “word-of-mouth” reputation for competitive pricing and excellent service. We are constantly striving to improve our company and to do everything possible to make home buying an enjoyable, stress-free experience for our customers.
