Johnnys plumbing & Hydronics Company

John T. Fontecchio III and his wife Karen started Johnny's Plumbing & Heating in 1978. We began our new business with two employees and carried out all the operations of the business from our garage.

John’s first company work truck was a 1966 Chevrolet. Then we drove two small tan-colored Toyota trucks which to this day are talked about around town.

In February of 1997, we incorporated the business as Johnny's Plumbing & Hydronics Company (JPH) to set ourselves apart by utilizing the name to announce its specialties in the hydronic-heating industry.

Over the years, Johnny's Plumbing & Hydronics has installed hundreds of hot-water heating systems combined with baseboard heat, snowmelt, in-floor heating systems, and varied combinations of heating systems.

We're recognized throughout Colorado as a leader in the radiant-heating industry. We work diligently with manufacturers and heating engineers to create the most efficient and economical heating systems imaginable.

From the beginning, JPH has been a family-owned and operated business. John's wife, daughter, and two sons are heavily involved in managing day-to-day operations, lending their own time and expertise to the development of the company.

Over the years, our family-oriented approach has been successful by the efforts of our employees. We have grown to become one of the largest and most successful plumbing contractor firms in southern Colorado.

JPH has expanded principal operations to three locations in Colorado. This strategic growth has created new services that include fireplace installations, HVAC, backflow prevention, E-ONE pump service and repairs, counter sales, sewer cleaning, video inspections, appliances, and much more.

JPH handles all phases of plumbing and heating from small service calls, residential and commercial plumbing, remodels, multi-family housing, and light industrial.

The Cañon City facility boasts a beautiful 3,500 square foot showroom exhibiting the newest luxury kitchen and bath products for you to drop in and feel the experience. This showroom signifies endless resources of luxurious plumbing products that enable us to thrive within the industry.

Here you will see many working displays that offer samplings of how certain products operate in normal working conditions. The company’s main corporate offices are also located in this facility.

JPH has worked on thousands of job sites throughout Colorado including cities far from its normal geographic locations.

Areas include Aspen, Avon, Vail, Trinidad, Crested Butte, Salida, Colorado Springs, Denver, Westcliffe, Buena Vista, and more. Jobs have even been completed as far as Arizona, California, and New Mexico.
