    Jon is just putting the finishing touches on our riverfront guest house / wood-shop / RV garage and it looks amazing. What started out as my pencil scratches on paper, Jon has transformed into a beautiful building that he expertly integrated with the main house via decorative walls, rock and walkways. We couldn’t be happier. Throughout the process, Jon sent daily pictures of the progress; he handled all of the FEMA and permit work (which is a huge deal on the river); the finances were handled professionally and efficiently; and best of all, his work is top rate. He definitely sweats the details. Thank you Jon & Becky for making our Oregon dream come true.

    When we decided to build a custom home on our ranch, we of course, chose Jon Derhammer to build it. After having Jon remodel an earlier home we had, we were delighted with the result, and especially pleased with Jon's guidance as we progressed through the building effort. Without doubt we ended up with a far better, LESS EXPENSIVE result than had we planned it without him. A builder that you can trust, both for quality of work, and with your checkbook.
    Besides, who else would you have do your building than a guy named Der Hammer??

    Jon did a beautiful job on our retirement home here in southern oregon including a remodel and extensive additions. Jon is definately interested in pleasing his clients and offering A-1 service. We highly recommend Derhammer Construction if you want reliability and top-notch service.

    Jon built our home in Trail in 1990. 1700 square foot home in the mountains. Perfect! Absolutely beautiful. The quality was exceptional. Jon continually added special touches to the project.

    Jon did an extensive remodel/addition for my husband and I back in 1995 on an older kit log home in Shady Cove. The small 1200 sq ft home just wasn't going to big enough when our family grew from 4 to 5! There were many challenges Jon encountered doing this project; yet none that he wasn't able to overcome. And the final results more then met our expectations. Jon is a very talented contractor/builder with a keen eye for detail. My Dad was a very gifted builder. He had a way with a piece of wood and Jon is one of the few people I know that has this same gift. Working with Jon was a blessing, especially since we did some of the work ourselves. He was always ready and willing to go the extra mile for us. We would use Jon again without hesitation for any future building projects. His honesty, integrity and work ethic are impeccable!

    Jon Derhammer Construction built our custom home on the Rogue River in Shady Cove, Oregon. It was completed in 2009. We selected Jon because he had done a great deal of work for other family members and we were not disappointed. This was a complicated design with some significant building challenges because of the location right on the river. We also had some high end finishes that required excellent craftmanship to pull off. My husband and I cannot say enough nice things about Jon and all of the excellent craftsmen who worked on our beautiful home. Every single detail was attended to perfectly (and I am pretty picky). We stayed within the budget or knew what we were asking when changes came up, as the always do. The most amazing thing to most people is that we were living in Los Angeles when the house was being built. Jon sent me photos almost every day, we talked on the phone almost every day, and came to visit and select finishes several times during the build. There are very few people in this world that can be trusted with such a project on a long distance basis. We know that no corners were cut, the house is built beautifully, and is sold as a rock! We love our home. Jon Derhammer Construction does first rate work!!!

    In 2004 we retired and relocated to a home we had owned for many years in Trail, OR. Before moving in we decided to remodel the home with extensive changes. Jon Derhammer was recommended to us and after 2-3 months knocking out walls, sheet rocking other walls, ceilings, etc. and adding French Doors to the side of the house facing the river the house was ready.

    Jon did all of the work while we were still living in Southern California with pictures of progress sent to us via email. Jon always has good ideas with regards to making your home more than you could imagine.

    Jon is totally trustworthy, reliable, and everything you want in your contractor. We very highly recommend Jon Derhammer for anyone who wants an honest, extremely capable and highly talented contractor.
