Kass & Associates is an architecture and design firm based in Philadelphia. Founded in 1990, the firm specializes in creating and renovating distinctive, quality homes for clients in the city’s vibrant downtown as well as in the surrounding region. The firm provides a high level of care, attention, and expertise in both traditional and contemporary settings.

Our team of talented professionals is adept at collaborating closely with owners, builders, interior designers, artisans, landscape designers, and technicians throughout the design and construction process. Kass & Associates works in both country and urban settings. The firm has completed over sixty urban apartments, condominium units, and townhouses in premier locations around Philadelphia, as well as dozens of house renovations, additions, and new custom homes.
The firm has had its residential work featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, Custom Home, New Old House, Main Line Today, Philadelphia Style, and Philadelphia Magazine. Kass & Associates designed the Traditional Model Showcase Unit at The Lanesborough as part of Philadelphia Magazine's 2003 Design Home.
Kass & Associates is recipient of a 2016 Palladio Award from Period Homes and a 2016 Grand Jury Award from the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia in recognition of their Victorian Residence project. The firm also received the 2007 Best Residential Project Award from the Associate Builders and Contractors Inc., Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter and a Historic Preservation Award from the Historic Architectural Review Board of Lower Merion Township in 1997.
