Bathroom Remodel - This was our second time working with Brandon and all was fine until he decided to change our shower door without consulting us. We had a bathtub torn out and replaced with a tiled walk-in shower in our master bath. Brandon convinced us that we needed a custom shower door because of crooked walls and the size of the opening. We ordered barn door style hardware with one clear fixed glass and one sliding glass with a finger pull and no towel bars to the tune of $1650.00. We received different hardware but kind of a barn door style and two sliding doors with towel bars on both doors. We immediately called Brandon and he said he would check on it. Two days later he sent us a drawing from the vendor of replacement doors (we had compromised and ok'd the hardware as holes had already been drilled in our new tile), we ok'd the new doors and expected Brandon to order them (he complained that is would cost him $750.00 to make the new doors), he has yet to order them and it has been 6 weeks. He does not respond to our texts, calls or e-mails since we signed off on the corrected doors. We have since found out from the vendor that when the original order was placed they told Brandon that the doors we chose would not work in our space and suggested a different door, Brandon ok'd the change WITHOUT speaking to us or showing us what the change would look like, we found out on installation day. If we had been given the opportunity, we would never have ok'd the door design we received as the doors have towel bars which ruin the look we were going for, but we were not given the opportunity. Instead Brandon decided on his own how to spend our money. We know that mistakes are made, however, a contractor with integrity would work with a client to make it right, instead Brandon ignores us and we are faced with an expensive remodel that makes us angry every time we walk into our master bath. We would never hire or recommend Brandon and KC Renovation Concepts again.
