Keys + Lauer Architects was founded in 1984 and has been continuously providing architectural services in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. We are a small firm striving to create architecture that fuses innovative design with practicality to meet the goals of our clients. We strongly believe that our attentive professional service to both the client and to the project is instrumental to the success of the built project and the overall experience for the client.

The foundation of the firm’s practice and its success has been based on building enduring relationships with Owner / Clients that have continued long-term facility needs. The fundamentals in maintaining these relationships have been strong Principal involvement in all projects in the office and a commitment to quality and service from the entire staff. We have consistently remained a small firm having found that the small firm culture is well suited to our management style and responsive client service.

The firm’s work has been diverse over the years with an emphasis in the commercial, medical, religious, and educational project types for institutional and governmental clients. Projects are performed by a variety of means including traditional Owner/Architect/Contractor, Partnered Teaming, and Design Build. Most of the firm’s work is on the front range of Colorado with licenses held in the surrounding states.
