Keystate Homes

The residential construction business runs deep in the Gotlieb family. Prior to World War II, our family was in the lumber business in Europe. Soon after the war, Grandfather Meir Gotlieb immigrated to the United States and began working as a home remodeler. Working in Brooklyn, New York, and later in Northeast, Ohio, Meir’s son, Avner took interest in the home building business. Avner started with his uncle working for National Home Builder Albee Homes of Niles Ohio. A quick study, Avner realized and valued the importance of price, quality and size in home building and renovation. During a recession in 1979, Avner & Mina took a chance and started Keystate Homes. Building his first home in Beachwood, Ohio, and soon expanding all over Northeast Ohio. Today, Keystate Homes provides residential construction services spanning Northeast, Ohio. With son, Andrew, the third generation of the Gotlieb family providing services, such as custom home building, custom home remodeling, general contracting, construction management, home restoration, home additions, residential consulting, residential development services, built-to-order residences and turnkey projects, Keystate Homes makes clients happy building their dream projects.
