Founded in 1995 as a woodworking shop, the company is an outgrowth of founder John Krafton's passion for woodworking. The firm specializes in creating custom built-in cabinetry and furniture. "We actually do quite a few antique reproduction pieces, and we use a lot of reclaimed materials," notes Krafton. Offering a full spectrum of finishes, Krafton Woodworks can complete your project in any finish, from hand-rubbed to high-gloss lacquer.

The firm uses a lot of reclaimed wood in its projects, both in cabinets and in furniture pieces. "Utilizing older wood, with its character, is a big part of what we do with custom furniture. Also, many designers are looking for an exact size for a table that might be difficult to achieve with an antique, but we can meet it with one of our reproduction pieces," notes Krafton. The company also offers full installation services, which they do themselves, taking care that a client's home is left neat and clean.

"We assure our clients that who you see is who you get." We do not subcontract out our installations. We work in our clients' homes, and when we leave, it's as if we were never there."

Customer satisfaction is a high priority for Krafton and his team. "We work hard to make sure that our clients get what they want. The architects and designers we work with all appreciate our great attention to detail," says Krafton.
