Since it’s founding in 2004 by Kevin Brooks, KRB has been building and remodeling exceptional homes throughout Chicago’s North Shore and the Greater Chicagoland Area. Mr. Brooks developed a passion for construction and architecture even before high school. During high school, he was given the opportunity to begin working with a number of remodelers and contractors to start learning the trade. He continued his pursuit in this field while gaining valuable experience working for a remodeling company as a CAD draftsman and site project manager while studying at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. Mr. Brooks earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1999. Prior to starting KRB, Kevin built custom homes for a premiere North Shore home builder for 5 years. He currently focuses on all aspects of custom home building and remodeling from assisting customer with their selections and working cooperatively with trades to easing the customer's conerns with the budgetary aspects of their project.
