David J. Hurley, who has been in the construction business since 1972, founded First General Services of Ebensburg/Altoona in March 1985. Since then, First General Services has grown in size and capacity, while developing an outstanding reputation for excellence in the disaster restoration field.

First General Services has a combined experience of 87 years from management through our technicians. Our knowledgeable estimator has been trained to look for hidden damages and to detail every estimate as if he were estimating his own home restoration project. Within 48 hours, we will provide a complete scope of the work, along with photographs and computerized estimates for the cost of repairs. First General Services works with your insurance company to ensure a detailed scope of your loss.
First General Services guarantees the labor on the repairs completed on your property for a period of three (3) years. Material is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty includes guaranteed smoke odor removal for all fire restoration projects. This warranty is person to the person who owned the building at the time of repairs and is non-transferable. Upon final completion and payment in full of your restoration project, please contact us for your warranty certificate.
