Richard Ressler was born in Los Angeles and has grown up among the vastness of the city. A Franklin High School graduate of Highland Park and a Cal State University Northridge alumni, Richard has a love of his home city and wants to be part of its future. The son of a Los Angeles taxi and bus operator, he remembers firsthand the L.A. Riots, the ‘94 Northridge Quake, and the change throughout the city.
He joined the U.S. Air Force after high school and continues to serve to this day, part-time in the Air National Guard. Having put in 13 years so far as a vehicle operator, by military trade, he holds a Class-A Commercial Driver's License and has worked his way up to Superintendent of his unit. He has applied his vast knowledge of logistics and heavy-equipment/vehicle operation to ensure that the troops in his unit are trained above the standards.
Having to work many different trades in the construction industry, throughout the years, he decided to partner with Alonso Rodriguez and manage Los Angeles Garage Conversions. Today, Richard is the Partner & Project Coordinator, managing ADU projects throughout Los Angeles County.
When not at work or performing his military duty, you can find Richard swing dancing, making music with his brother, or exploring Tiki lounges around the city.
Richard is a very giving person who takes a genuine interest in helping others and uses this as motivation to drive forward in life. His sense of caring applies to all the work he performs in both his military and civilian life.
