Installation of Solar Panels
Sunpro Solar now called ADT Solar Panel installation in Cary, NC. Initial installation start date was 18 August 2022, after many calls and several installation teams later, final installation completed in Nov 2022. Failed first Town of Cary inspection in Dec 2022, Failed 4 more inspections (Jan - April 2023), received final inspection pass in May 2023. Still waiting for PTO and Duke approval. My advise would be not to go with the national brand name like ADT. Their Sales team might good, but their installation support teams and customer service teams are poor. When making a $50K investment into your home for solar try someone local, they know the local regulations and make sure to reveiw the types of service they provide after the sale.

Solar installation
$43,000
I have been having a terrible experience with this company. Nothing but foot dragging from the day we signed the contract. It's been over a month since they installed the system. It failed inspections and despite simple fixes they still haven't finished the job to get it turned on.
Edit to add: I got notification from the inspection engineer that they didn't fasten the install to my roof properly so it's a fail. Not sure how much longer before getting the BBB involved.
