Maryland Home Improvement Company was founded by Mr. J.J. Palmer in 2001.

Mr. Palmer is a Master Carpenter with a certification in carpentry from the State of Maryland and the Carpenters Local Union # 101. He is also a Licensed Master Electrician. He has an electrical engineering degree from the Community College of Baltimore County and he is a graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute, as well as a veteran of the United States Air Force graduating Air Force Tech School with honors.

Mr. Palmer is well versed in each and every building system that makes up a home from the footings to the roof caps. He started his career in home improvements in the late 1970s doing small jobs in his spare time. Since then he has completed a wide array of projects including whole house restorations, room additions, bathroom & kitchen remodels, finished basements, and an extensive assortment of home repair and maintenance projects which adds up tp 33 years of residential remodeling experience.

This knowledge and experience along with the company’s repertoire of manpower & equipment enable Maryland Home Improvement Company to handle any kind of home improvement job professionally.
