Maywood Development Construction

Kent Fisher has a true passion for building homes. As the owner and General Contractor of Maywood Custom Homes & Remodeling Kent personalizes each job working one-on-one with each client. He is best known for his attention to detail, his hands-on building, and his ability to truly “listen” to his customers and their specific needs. His expertise has always been reflected in superior quality and customer satisfaction.

Kent started his home building career in 1977 while working under a prestigious general contractor who specialized in building custom homes. He became educated and skilled in the trades of framing, finish work, and concrete. Kent was also educated in the field of Construction Management at Weber State University. In 1980 Kent created his own company, Fisher Construction, providing subcontractor services of framing, finish work, and concrete. Fisher Construction quickly became known for their quality and attention to detail. In 1985 he formed Maywood Development Inc. specializing in custom homes and custom remodeling.

Kent is an active member of the Utah Home Builders Association and has served on the Board of Directors of the Weber Basin Home Builders Association, and also the Bear Lake Home Builders Association. Through the years Maywood has participated in the Parade of Homes receiving numerous awards including, “Best Builder”, “Best of Show”, “Best Kitchen”, “Best Bath”, “Best Curb Appeal”, “Best Interior Design”, “Best Architectural Design”, and “Best Interior Finish”.
