  Rebuild after fire

  If you are looking for a company for remodeling or a rebuild, look no further. MBB Construction has to be the very best available in the Twin Cities. Before I tell you why, let me say that, when it comes to our home and possessions, we are fairly demanding and we expect things to be done the right way. In this day and age, we find it difficult to find service providers who can meet our high standards and this is very frustrating. However, we can honestly say that from the day we accepted MBB’s bid to rebuild our home, we did not experience a moment of frustration [that was caused by them!].
  Mike Baker and his construction team could not have been a better choice. On Mother’s Day 2017 our house burned. The “restoration” company we had originally called gutted our home. The entire house had to be rebuilt from the studs up. When Mike Baker was asked to provide a bid, consulted with Kyle who has many years of experience in insurance claims and adjustment. They went through the entire house and worked up a proposal.
  During the entire process Mike kept us informed, frequently had us out to the property to check on and clarify things and was always in communication. He never made a decision that would have affected the outcome of the house without checking with us. He made sure we knew where we were at in our budget and made recommendations, without pushing in any way.
  His team of employees are the most respectful, hardworking young men we have met in a long, long time. Mike and his team worked tirelessly – often nights and weekends - trying to get us back in the house as soon as possible while at the same time, maintaining very high standards.
  What size job? Well the house is about 4,000 SF. They had to rebuild the garage as it was completely destroyed. They extended the 3 car garage, built an office with a bathroom above that, and then completed 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, Great Room [kitchen/dining/living room], laundry room, mudroom, family room and a theater room.
  When the house was fairly complete, Mike and Kyle went back through the house and outlined final items that the insurance company would be responsible for [bringing things up to code, restoring specialty items we had installed, etc]. We believe had we gone with any other builder or restoration company we would have been paying a lot more out of pocket or settling for less than what we had in the house. Mike and Kyle are an amazing team; they have been intent on getting everything that is our right from the insurance company.
  We don’t believe we could have found a better company to rebuild our home. The quality of the work is fantastic and Mike has become a good and trusted friend. If you want your home remodeled or rebuilt the right way, done well and without unnecessary delays, hire MBB Construction.
