Michael F. Bauer | Architect

I have been practicing architecture for over 40 years, both individually and in partnership with others. My work has been published in multiple regional and national magazines and books. I have experience with commercial and institutional buildings as well as numerous residential projects. I currently operate a small studio with a strong design orientation, focusing on sustainable, contemporary residences.

I offer services for building programming, master planning, schematic design, design development, construction documentation and administration. I have developed systematic approaches to building and site planning that combine modern analytic methods with environmental, technical, and human concerns. This ordered approach is critical to meeting design and production goals.

Limiting the number of projects at any given time allows me to give each job the attention it deserves and maintain tight controls on the quality of work produced.
