In the early 1980’s, after years of working in the field as an estimator for his brother, Lawrence O. Michaelis started his own construction company. The family name began appearing on more and more trucks throughout central Indiana and now is simply known as Michaelis. When I joined my Father’s firm, as a field carpenter, we furthered our solid reputation as general contractors.
