​Mike Stone is a licensed architect, a hobby builder, and an adjunct professor. Having worked in Kingsport, TN since 2006 as a part of the design team at CainRashWest Architects, he has worked on an array of project types within the commercial spectrum. After hours he provides residential design services, enjoys experimenting with construction techniques, and indulges in hobbies ranging from Lego, model building, and guitar. As an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee, Mike teaches the Appalachia seminar, a service-based course that works in Clay County Kentucky and has participated in a number of projects throughout that region.
