    It was a little hard to set the appointment, but once set, the plumber showed up on time, working quickly to perform the necessary repair. He was very professional and cleaned up after himself. I would definitely use them in the future.

    New home plumbing

    We hired Mixen Plumbing on 9/27/18 to install new plumbing into a new home in the amount of $16500.00. Per the proposal we were to pay Mixen his first payment request in the amount of $8250.00 at ground rough inspection. We gave Mixen a check in the amount of $8250 on 9/28/18 because he said he needed money. Ground rough was not completed until 11/27/18. Per his proposal second payment in the amount of $6600.00 was due after entire rough. Plumbing rough inspection was performed on 12/10/18 we gave Mixen the check for $6600.00 on 12/18/18. Mixen told us he would be back to wrap things up when the check was handed to him and he has not done anything to the home at all since then. He has not provided any lien waivers for material or labor to date and they have been requested multiple times. The balance of $1650.00 is due at completion. We have been unable to reach Mixen and we have tried to reach him via text and email. He refuses to return our calls or texts. We have asked him to meet us at the sight and he has made no attempt or response. The following items are still outstanding in order to move on with the construction of this home. Here are the items that are not completed on this home: to run 1 1/2" main copper water line from street to house that will supply water to the home, to finish roughing in master tub, to find water leak in all water supply lines throughout entire house that he(Mixen) discovered months ago from his workmenship and has made no attempt to find the leaks, to run gas lines and hook up two hot water tanks and two furnaces that have been at job sight since 12/6/18 furnaces, 12/30/18 water heaters, to install and connect gas fireplace. All these items are putting our project to a complete standstill since we have not heat because furnaces are not connected and a water leak that he has not attempted to locate. There fore we cannot continue to hang drywall. He has taken our money and has not completed the job per the proposal. He has removed all his equipment and material from the home and has not attempted or returned to finish the project. Since he has taken all our money from our plumbing budget we cannot even hire another plumber to complete the job.
