I hired Juan Mandonado a few years back as a roofing sub-contractor. Not only was his work deplorable, he damaged the residents air conditioner (dropped 4 bundles of shingles from the second story roof) and refused to pay for it. Then, after if fired him, I began receiving invoices from my roofing supplier for materials I never procured. Further investigation and security cam footage revealed that Mandonado was going to my supplier, taking thousands of dollars worth of materials on my account, and never paying for it. I even got sued by the supplier but won in court since they were not authorized to allow others to order materials on my account. I still had to pay over $1,500 in attorney fees however. DO NOT WORK WITH JUAN MANDONADO!! He is slime hiding under a rock. He is also illiterate (really) so contracts mean nothing to him.

Oh man I wouldn't even give this company a 1 star. I went and looked at a roof today that this so called company installed 2 weeks ago. It looks like a bunch of kids installed it. The whole thing needs come off. I feel so sorry for the homeowner. I will definitely right up my 100 page report findings a awnd to the State Of Colorado. This is the worst roof I have ever seen in 23 year's. Hands down!! These guys are crooks!

They were contacted by the previous owner of the property to have a roof replaced before we closed. They failed to start the project until the closing date after waiting 3 weeks. We also had issues with damage to the property that they tried to come on literally anything but them throwing shingles off the roof carelessly. When the finished the job site was left trashed with water bottles, food wrappers, nails, and debris left behind.

The roofer installed a roof that failed inspection, we then called the roofer who said the inspector was clueless. Next we called the manufacturers rep who visited the site and confirmed a large number of issues with the roof stating it would need to be removed and reroofed. The owner Juan has ignored our calls to discuss.

Complete lack of care for their work would never trust them to work on my home again. My roof was not installed properly up to code. They county notified them they never did anything about it. My roof ended up causing leaks in my basement due to poor craftsmanship. The county failed the roof a half a dozen more times during inspection after they came out and "fixed" the problem. If you want cheap careless work and someone who cuts corners looks no further than MJF Construction! Juan who does their work is overall extremely unpleasant to work with and is VERY combative if you challenge his work.
