Murray Renovations Construction
Back in the summer of 1987, I began my apprenticeship in the Construction Industry by working under the direct supervision of a master finish carpenter in Bodega Bay, California. I further developed my career by working under construction companies that specialized in building custom homes in the prestigious Fountain Grove neighborhood. Throughout the next several years I worked in both Marin and Sonoma Counties on everything from track homes in Santa Rosa to extensive remodels in Tiburon. I was fortunate enough to be part of a team of carpenters that worked on an historical Queen Anne farmhouse in the town of Freestone. As time progressed my focus was centered in the beautiful Russian River Valley and the nearby community of Occidental. In the spring of 2004, as a journeyman carpenter I obtained my Contractor's License and finally reached my goal to become a small business owner. Murray Renovations has played an intricate role in my overall experience in the Construction Industry. Being a responsible lead carpenter, scheduling, and implementing all aspects of the home building process has taught me valuable communication skills and how to work well with homeowners and other contractors. In the winter of 2018, I moved to Bend, Oregon where I recently finished renovating a home in the scenic Awbrey Butte neighborhood. Currently I am sub contracting as a finish carpenter working on custom trim and kitchen installation. Which includes bathroom, mudroom, and garage storage cabinets. Through the years I have gained the knowledge and experience to help any client turn their new construction or renovation project from a dream into a reality.
