Nansel Construction Inc

Nansel Construction, Inc was started in February of 1991 when Mike Nansel saw an opportunity to work with a Realtor repairing HUD homes for re-sale. With the knowledge from an Associates Degree in Architecture Mike was able to obtain a Class B Contractors License with the City of Denver, which is still current today. The class B license allows Nansel Construction to permit and work on residential and small commercial projects. After a few home repairs Nansel Construction was introduced to the manufactured home market. Mike worked with manufactured home retailers in setting and completing manufactured homes throughout Colorado. Along with this he began doing other projects for home owners such as re-roofs, remodels, decks, and any other repair work needed. In the late 90’s Nansel Construction primarily worked with a home builder framing and siding new homes. One of Mike’s goals was to design and build his own homes in the Colorado mountains In 2000 that goal became a reality when he designed and built his own home in Conifer,CO.
With the help of his father Lane, from 2002 until 2009 Mike was designing and building spec homes in Park County, near Fairplay. With the turn in economy he was forced to re-focus on another career. Mike obtained his Insurance Adjusters License, got certified to work with State Farm and did insurance claims until the economy started to recover. Today Mike is back to doing what he enjoys, and that is completing building projects. Now located in Lakewood, Colorado Nansel Construction has completed several remodel projects including kitchens, baths, whole house remodels and a few small commercial projects. Wanting to achieve more, Mike has recently obtained his Real Estate Brokers Associate License in order to work with Real Estate Investors in acquiring and fixing residential properties.
